The Festival of Sensuality is held in a yurt camp by a village called Cimelice an hour and a half south of Prague which is the nearest city with an airport. Buses run from Prague every hour or two and full directions on how to get there will be given to you after booking.
The camp is a cosy field with beautiful flowering bushes and trees on the edge of a forest and close to a lake where we can swim.
Where do we sleep?.
There are 4 yurts for same sex dormitory accommodation and these all have mattresses, electric lights, wooden floors and a door. If you want to stay in a dormitory you must let us know when you book and the ticket page will indicate whether there are still places.
You can also bring your own tent and camp which is what the majority of people do as, though the yurts are comfy, it’s nice to have a bit of privacy ๐
The parking is also very close to the festival so you can also come with a camper van and sleep there.
What about toilets and showers?
There are 4 outside compost toilets, an outdoor shower (great on hot days) and an inside shower which has limited hot water. (Pro tip: there’s always hot water at night!)
There are also taps and basins for washing hands or clothes.
Where do we eat?
Breakfast is always self-serviceย by the kitchen and there are wooden tables there where you can sit and eat.
Lunch is served under the big chapiteau so that we have shelter from the sun.
Dinner is served outside around the fire place.
We eat lunch and dinner together sitting in a circle and that’s when we make announcements about upcoming workshops and festival news. We usually sing a song together before dinner ๐
The food is vegan, healthy and delicious and there are always gluten-free options.
What is the place like?
It’s really cute. It’s small enough that it’s easy to walk everywhere, it’s flat and the yurts and bushes are wonderfully aesthetic.
We have a beautiful tea tent where we can hang out when we want a break from workshops and an open fire at night for when we want to sing and dance.
As it is a small field though we ask everyone to be quiet from midnight on so that everyone can get enough sleep ๐
